Mexico Made a Cloud That Rains Tequila

Mexico really wants to entice German tourists.  So much so, that in order to promote Mexico as a tourism destination to the Germans the Mexican Tourism Board came up with a tequila Cloud exhibit in Berlin… that literally rains down tequila.

How you might ask?

Using ultrasonic humidifiers that turns the tequila into a mist, the cloud then condenses that mist into liquid form and so that it literally rains booze.  Genius!

Apparently, German winters are pretty freaking rainy (Berlin gets more rain than London).  According to Adweek, the cloud only rained when it was raining in Berlin… as a subtle message to the German people that maybe they’d rather be sunbathing on a Mexican beach with a margarita in their hands.

Check out a video of the Cloud in action below.
