It only took almost a year, but nude pictorials are BACK in Playboy! The company had previously decided to eliminate nudity from the magazine in order to capture a more mainstream fan base and advertising.
Less than a year later, on Monday February 13, 2017, Chief Creative Officer Cooper Heffner announced the company’s reversal on that decision:
“Nudity was never the problem because nudity isn’t a problem,” Hefner, who is the son of founder Hugh Hefner, posted on Twitter. “Today we’re taking our identity back and reclaiming who we are.”
